The Front Desk

The front desk is the primary point of contact between Herrick Memorial Library and its patrons. Go to the front desk to:

• Check out or return library materials (circulation policies)
• Check out items placed on reserve (more information on reserves)
• Pick up interlibrary loans
• Ask for help in finding information or materials
• Renew loans of library materials (how to renew a loan)
• Obtain copy cards for use with photocopiers and microfilm/microfiche reader/printers in the library
• Pay fines
• Purchase items from the book sale
• Donate items to the library (more information on donating to the library)
• Make suggestions or complaints

Research Services

Librarians are trained to assist library users in locating information and materials. They are on call to assist you with your research and to answer other questions, Monday through Friday, 9-12 and 1-5. Please ask at the front desk to speak with a librarian.

You may also:

• submit a question to a reference librarian online
• schedule an individual appointment with a reference librarian

Interlibrary Loan Services

If you would like to borrow items which are not owned by Herrick Memorial Library, you may request them through interlibrary loan. For more information or to request items, click here.
